Hi Coco,
It’s been a couple of weeks since I last popped into your inbox — and for a very special reason. My son got married! 💍
It was one of those beautiful, love-filled weekends that reminded me just how powerful connection truly is — the laughter, the tears, the dancing, all blending into something unforgettable. I set an intention to be fully present and soak up every minute, and I found myself wishing time could slow down or stand still. It didn’t, of course — but the moments lingered in a way that felt truly magical. 💜
Embracing joy takes practice. Our minds often struggle to hold on to the happy moments, quickly giving way to worry or “what ifs.” But I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, that while life with ADHD can be complex and unpredictable, moments of joy — whether big, like a wedding, or small, like a shared laugh — are what keep us grounded and hopeful.
As my life eases back into a more normal routine, I’ve been going through your responses to my recent question: What topics would you love to hear more about?
You shared such thoughtful ideas, and I want to highlight a few that really stood out:
✨ Exploring both homeopathic and traditional treatments — what’s worked, what hasn’t, and how families are finding balance.
✨ School support, motivation, and connection — helping kids feel engaged and capable.
✨ The importance of unmasking — and how masking can hide struggles but lead to burnout, shutdowns, and meltdowns.
✨ Continuing to raise awareness about ADHD in girls, women, and people from diverse backgrounds, who are still too often missed or misunderstood.
✨And a powerful reminder: the importance of making more of this work available in Spanish — something that’s close to my heart and that I hope to create more space for in the future.
Reading through your responses reminded me how thoughtful and compassionate this community is — how deeply you care about understanding, supporting, and uplifting one another.
In the coming weeks, I’ll be exploring some of these ideas — and continuing to practice what I preach: pausing long enough to notice, and embrace, the good along the way.
With love and respect, Coco
P.S. What’s one small moment of joy you’ve noticed this week? I’d love to hear about it.❤️
